A viral clip reveals the individual from Australia shoving aside photographers and lunging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a event pathway flanked by supporters. Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by guards. Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was set to appear on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was charged. History of Disruptions This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed contains clips of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last December. "Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," commented an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions. "This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned. Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Past Trauma Many fans criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many. "After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said another comment on Instagram. Several supporters also questioned event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some called for social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos. Aftermath and Premiere Information In footage spreading on the internet, Grande appeared startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by staff. Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted. Hundreds of Singapore fans had lined up to meet the actors of Wicked Many of supporters had congregated in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began. The film, to be premiered on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-part interpretation of the popular Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the unlikely bond between two distinct witches. The production itself is a derivative of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses. They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum. The previous installment, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of 2024 in the UK, and earned ten award recognitions, securing two for best costume and set decoration.
